    pitch help

    Ok so im looking into changing my fork and shock
    for the fork i think im going with the fox van 36 rc2 and for the rear i was thinking the fox dhx rc4, does it fit for an 09 pitch pro?

    thanks, im pretty much locked down on the fox van 36 but i still dont know what to do for the shock

    i feel like i need something with longer travel but im thinking that it may not work to well on this bike

    well i asked myself and in the thread above the same thing. The thing is that the Pitch is after all an AM bike. You can toughen it but it will not be SX trail or beefier. As i get it its geometry doesn't allow you to play much with the shock. The fork can go well up to 160 mm but if u go 180 it voids the warranty (first) and spoils the peddaling capabilities (second). All in all for me it's clear - if u wanna ride mainly DH you need another bike.
