Phenom Pro Saddle w/ Carbon Rails on a Carbon Seatpost Safe?

So my 2013 Specialized S-works Epic came with a carbon seatpost and I was thinking of upgrading the saddle to the Phenom Pro that has carbon rails. My LBS advised against doing this because it won't be safe. Is there any truth to this? He said something like due to the way the seatpost rails are, Specialized was smart and they intentionally wanted to use titanium rails against this specific carbon seatpost.

I'm thinking of swapping out with the Enve carbon seatpost and wondering if the same rule also applies?

If its the post I'm thinking of....its a side clamp post. The 7x9 rails on the Spesh carbon rail saddle will not work with a side clamp post. Specialized does have an adapter kit that will work with the carbon rails.
