    PF30 adapters and warranty

    Hi all,

I've just bought my new stumpy EVO frame which has the PF30 BB which is my first and tbh I prefer Ext BB rather than press fit but I think all frames are going this way.

If I was to use a adapter to allow me to use my XTR cranks which ideally I'd like to do. How are spesh with regards BB adapters, are they supported or could I have issues if I had a warranty problem.

Do any of you guys use PF adapters? Are there any issues with them spinning in the BB possibly ruining the frame?

    Thanks

SRAM make some for this very reason, in fact specialized give you them if they warranty an older type Greene with a pf30 Greene so I'd say you are fine to use them. Wheels manufacturing now also make a pf30 bb to use a 24mm axle crank without any adaptors which means one less interface to creak.
