I'm thinking of switching from my Tallboy to a SJ 29er FSR Expert Carbon. I think the brain is the way to go.

I rode the tallboy, jet 9 and epic and the tallboy was my least favorite of the three.

    1. epic 29er
    2. jet 9
    3. tallboy

It pedals well, but the downhill could be more fun. Suspension is maybe too active while climbing, at times. I was alot faster downhill on my '08 SJ 29er expert. Specy still makes damn good bikes.

IT does ride very well and the dampening of the carbon is a huge plus but it just wasnt my style. Great bike though, I would be happy with any of the three.
