    Niner RDO Carbon Seatpost?

Anybody try this post? I read in MTB Action that this post absorbs impact and smooths out ride and is a well worth upgrade to any bike. Currently running Thompson post and considering a carbon post. Not sure if carbon is worth the money, but if it smooths out ride its would be worth it.

Looking to add one to my Stumpy HT as well...I just posted over in the General forum with some replies. Looks to be similar to the Syntace.

The first upgrade for my 2013 stumpy marathon HT was a Cannondale SAVE seatpost. It's similar to the RDO post, but probably a bit more flexible. It definitely takes the sting out of the smaller hits and is worlds more comfy than the Thompson posts I used to use.

Got one a few weeks ago, love it so far. Definitely reduces the sting on my HT.

There are a bunch of flexing posts - Niner, Syntace, Ritchey, USE... probably a couple more. I'd get the Syntace. I'd get the Niner if I owned a Niner.

^^^ Why does it matter if the bike isn't a Niner?

Niner doesn't make anything better than anyone else (except their carbon fork) so I wouldn't buy anything from them if it was going on a different brand frame.
Just to be clear, everything they make is good, there's nothing wrong with their post, I'd buy all of their stuff if I had a Niner frame but I don't so I'd rather have the Syntace.

I picked up the HiFlex Syntace post for my stumpy fsr, I noticed a difference when climbing rocky sections. My butt and lower back isnt as sore after long rides.

I was about to get one but saved a bit by choosing a Syntace p6 Hyflex instead. Either way they're both great products. Couple that with a 2.2 tires and my Flash 29 feels like an Epic

And yes , a Niner product won't look good on a Cannondale, my Specialized's Zee Cage is already an eyesore in there.....
