New s-works crank - how many full revolutions does it spin when you give a good spin?
New s-works crank - how many full revolutions does it spin when you give a good spin without a chain? I get about 3 full turns but my wife's 2009 S-works Era gets about 10-12. Will it get better in time or are the new seals to keep dirt etc out more restrictive for spinning because the ones on her 2009 don't seal the whole bearing like the new 2012 seals. Thanks...

I found out that the seal on the non-drive side is what makes the resistance. It spins when the crank spins and the rubber seal spins against the frame that provides the resistance. When not there the crank spins freely about 5-6 revolutions. Once it is in place the crank spins like 3 revolutions. Anyone can test this on there's or give advice.
