Go ahead and sell it/swap it. If the color is not yout thing there is nothing you can do about it,I know that feeling. My old black and white Stumpy FSR Elite 2011 to me was a totally ugly bike in neon green and black,I would have never got one in that color.
Just a question : didn't you see the bike in the flesh before purchasing it ?

Fellas...I think the color is sweet. The bike itself is super sexy.

I just wanted to see if someone was interested in trading while the frame was new. I thought I'd go a different route (blacked out bike) then what I normally had. Again, I have a bright blue BMC with green handlebars and a Green Niner already in my stable. I just sold an Orange Tallboy. I LOVE color...(just wanted to try something different if the opportunity presented itself). Maybe even go S-Works?

I have no problems whatsoever keeping the bike.

Thanks for all the great comments.

2 years ago when I bought my 2011 SJ, I fell in love with the lime green/black model because I always had kind of plain bikes and wanted some color. It didnt take long for that to wear off and make me kind of wish I went with the black/white version.
When I decided to upgrade and get a SJ EVO carbon, I was hesitant to get the full bike due to the color and went with the all black frame. In person I really love the look of the blue/orange, but if I owned it I'm not sure how long it would be before I would be black vinyl wrapping the orange.

I think the color looks awesome, though I haven't seen one in person yet. Whatever flosta your boat though really... it's your ride and you have to be happy with it.

If you happen to be unsure of that fox 34 though - let me know

Go back to the mid to late 70's. Orange and blue was the coolest combo.

My vintage ski pants and jacket are the exact combo.

WTF is up with the front brake hose on the outside of the fork leg?

Way too easy to damage the hose...fluid leak....no front brake power. Fix it before you ride. Bad on the mechanic who did the build.

Good catch. I didn't even notice it. Plus I noticed my Niner is setup that way too, and I'm the one that built that...

What size is it? I just picked up the frameset and I'm still waiting on the fork to come. If it's a large and we could get it done fast I just might.

Nice. I dig the color combo. I rode this bike at Interbike and really liked it......although it didn't look as nice as your's with all the fine white Bootleg talc on it.

Here's a link to my review.

Looks like the Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Carbon EVO 29er was the most bike of the bunch

    OSCORP.

Nice ride . . . but I am curious as to why you swapped out the dropper post and most importantly, the tires. From experience, those Renegades will shred to bits once you start riding the EVO the way it was intended.

You took the EVO out of the EVO!

    Thanks,
The rides here are flat mostly and I have no use for the command post besides it weights a ton, I was using my stumpy HT with the renegade tires and they really worked for me, im not that aggressive rider, I just like the look of the Evo a lot.
