Here you go. Bought the Frameset and picked the parts.
Frame is Large. 20.4lbs without pedals. Will be a hair under 21 with my EB11 pedals & 2 waterbottle cages.
Roval Control SL Wheels, Thunder Burt Tires tubeless, XX1 drivetrain, XTR Brakes with Ashima rotors, Ritchey cockpit, ESI grips, Romin Evo Pro saddle.
Previous bikes include Niner Jet9 RDO, Niner Jet9 Alu, Air 9 Carbon SS (Still have this one), Ibis Mojo, Spec Stumpjumper FSR 26.
Was drown to the Epic for efficiency while standing, which I love to do on my SS.
Test rode a few over the years, always rode great but I could feel the brain, which bothered me a bit. Friends with Epics said not to worry that we quickly forget about these.
Initial test ride was quite impressive, but was only in park. Brain feels better than on previous demos. Efficiency is great. Transition from locked to open was very smooth while riding and not too much noticeable.
Can't wait to try on a real trail.
Special thanks to Tim and Dustin at Plano Cycling!
