In the market for a new fork..advice please!

    This is going on a 2012 Hardrock Disc 26", it's equipped with a SR Suntour XCT (SF12-XCT-V4-DS), 1pc. alloy lower, 28mm Hi-Ten stanchions, 1-1/8" Hi-Ten steerer, , 80mm travel.

I've been reading and researching online that 100mm travel fork is good and will work with the bike, so that's what I'm leaning towards. But I've also read that there may be some modifications made to the fork depending on my bike. Is this true? I'm looking for a plug and play type fork. Is this possible?

Also, would an Air fork be the right application for my bike?

I've narrowed it down to these (based on my specs), what else would I need?

Components > Forks > Suspension Forks | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

I would love to install this on my own, but if needed, I can and will take it to the LBS for installation.

    Thanks in advance

    Bonking ... not feelin' well

The Rockshox SID XX Dualair that they are selling at 43% off would be a fantastic addition to your bike. A great 100mm fork that would transform your bike.
