Looks like i'm gonna hang onto the specialized for another season.

My 05 stumpjumper is working great. i can't knock it. I was gonna buy a turner frame and swap all the parts over, but hey, i think i'd be better off with a set of crossmax XL's and a decent road bike.

Specialized stuff just works, what can i say.

Endurowanker-I think thats a good choice-let us know what road frame you get. Enjoy the Mavics.

yeah i'm actually pretty excited. granted the SJ isn't a turner, but it still IS the nicest bike i've ever owned. It's gonna be good running another season on such a familiar ride. I got the shock pushed awhile ago too, and WHOA. it's nice.

i'm lookin at a kona jake the snake cross bike for road. I do a lot of my riding at night/in bad weather. so a straight up road bike might be a bad idea.
