    Identify my Specialized Stumpjumper...

I am looking for some help to identify a Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail. I looked through the Specialized archives and searched this forum but did not find a match. These are the details that I currently have

Frame- Specialized Stumpjumper Pro (Black w/ red decals)
    Fork-Rock Shox Sid
    Drivetrain- XTR rear derailleur,
    Brakes- Avid v-brakes

I won't be getting the bike until the spring so I don't have any pictures yet. I believe that it would be a 2002 or older because it has no option for disc brakes. I am not sure whether someone has any pictures of this bike, or if there happens to be any online Specialized catalogues that I could use.

    Thanks for your help...

I have an older stumpy pro frame hangin' on the wall.(2002, Top tube dented) and it has disc mounts. 2003+ have the ORE downtubes.
    Livin' the dream.

So it must be older than 2002 then. Unfortunately the Specialized archives only go as old as 2002.

That looks like a 2002 model. Mine is very similar to that...

1999 or 2000 -- But I'm not certain. I had a '99 FSR XC Stumpjumper Pro with the SID XC on the front that matches your description. Black frame, red (with whitish/gray) decals. It was stolen a few years back, but I'll post a pic of that paint scheme if I can find a pic.

That's either a 1997 or 98. Had the exact same bike.
