Help with Stumpy 06 Shock Change Over

    Hi everyone

I'm in the process of changing my Triad shock with a New Cannondale Rush RP-23. I live in the Caribbean (St.Lucia to be exact) and the only bike shop in town is not equipped to work on real mountain bikes, so I have to do everything on my own with imported parts of course. Do I need to install new bushings in the shock eyelet to fit my stumpy? Would I need a special tool?
I'd appreciate any info. from persons who have made the switch.
    Thanks Much

You'll need to get new reducers to fit the shock for that specific bike. You can contact Fox directly for that. And might as well get new bushings too.

No special tools required but pushing out the old bushing and putting in a new one requires some muscles and some specific-sized sockets. Or you can do what I did and order the tool from He has an ad here on the mtbr forum, as well as on eBay.
