    Help me pick a stumpy

i am looking to buy a stumpjumper fsr, first its between the comp ($3000) and the evo ($3300), and then the big question, 26 or 29.

i ride a bit more xc, but if i buy an fsr, ill move toward drops and more aggressive/technical riding. ranging from 130mm travel with the comp 29 to 150mm with the evo 26, i dont know what to go with.

and how is the 29 with decline vs the 26, and how does the 26 climb vs the 29. do you feel suspension slows you down a bit climbing?

    Bump.

I would go with the 26, seeing you want to get more aggressive with your riding. And what is 300 bucks more to get 10mm of more travel, a degree slacker headtube, and 6mm longer wheelbase. The components are basically the same but you're getting a bike that I think you'll grow into better. These measurements may not sound like a lot, but small differentiating in measurements do wonders, for best or for worst. In your case, for the better.

yeah, i read that, they said the 29 gets you through the boring things, but the 26 is better everywhere else, but in my state (rhode island) its like 50/50 with the boring/fun ratio (as in climbs vs desends)
