    Has anyone noticed this?

On Christoph Sauser 2009 S-Works Epic the rear suspension is under the top tube instead of being attached to the swing arm. Now when I look at the 09 Catalog I didn't see a pic. of the S-Works Epic but every other Epic has the orginal set up with the suspension on the swing arm. Is this a modification for Sauser. I wouldn't mind seeing all Epic's with the new set up especially if Specialized is increasing there prices for 09.

    Epic

The modification to the epic is the new 09 design which will only available as the the sworks model, i believe the aluminium versions are remaining as per the old design for the moment. There are pictures aluminium version of the new design but who knows when they will be released.

Why would there be nice promo pics of the aluminum versions if they weren't planning on releasing them?

    Looks Sweet

Im considering getting an 09 Epic Expert as it's either the Epic or Stumpjumper. I think the new design will sell as Im not sure about it justifying the price increase as thats what may hurt all 09's

I don't understand why Spesh show the 09 Alu Epics if they are not planning to sell them this year?

Okay, not that would even be more odd (for me anyway), why would it not be sold in the US? Ain't Spesh, US Based?
