    Is this a good price for a 08 FSRxc Pro?

    My LBS is selling a carryover 08 FSRxc Pro for $1600 (which he says is negotiable). Does this sound like a good deal? The specs seem pretty solid. Can anyone help a noob out? I came pretty close to buying it but told him I would think it over.

    Looks like a good deal to me, seems similar to the 09 FSRxc Expert that retails for $1900.

    i was able to get an 08 pitch comp which retails for more than an xc pro for around $1300. you should be able to get it for $1400 or less

    Since they completely changed the design for '09, AND '10's are starting to trickle out (making an '08 2 yrs old), I wouldn't pay anything close to $1600 for it. I just got a '09 XC Comp for around $1400.

    Way too much money. I picked up a 08 Stumpjumper FSR Comp for $1560 back in September.

    Thanks for the replies. I think I will hold out for a better deal. Perhaps I will look into a carryover Stumpy.
