    fsr xc rear shock concerns

I am thinking about buying a specialized 08 fsr xc expert. I ride a hardtail now,so the whole fs thing is new to me. After reading several reviews on the x fusion 02rc rear shock,I am concered about durability and lifespan. I ride crosscountry single track trails in missouri and do as much technical sections as I can find. any input would be good

    Never had a failure!

I've sold heaps of them, and the x-fusion have been more reliable than the fox! The feel is nowhere near as good, but reliability-wise I've never seen one fail.

I've had no problems with mine, and I ride some XC and very light downhill. The shock seems to lose air after a few months of no use though.
