Fox Float Tapered Fork on Hardrock?

I have a Yeti SB-66 that I am planning on upgrading from a Fox Float 32 and I want to take that fork and put it on my 2012 Hardrock. With the fork having a tapered steerer tube, is there anyway possible to make it work on the Hardrock which I believe is designed to accept a straight 1 1/8th?

    Thanks

Short of pressing in a new steerer or cutting/welding a new headtube; don't think so...

Not possible. The Hardrock has a 1 1/8" straight headtube, so putting a tapered fork on there isn't going to work. Your best best is to just sell the Float 32 and put that cash toward a new fork for the Hardrock.

Darn it, we'll looks like I'm going to have a Float 32 for sale in the near future.
