    Epic vs Epic Marathon

What is the differnce between the 2?
To me, it looks like the same bike with different components...or am I missing something?

if you can, go for the marathon, its a great bike, with great components, especially for the money.

I was originally interested in the SWorks carbon Epic. But then I saw the carbon Marathon Epic in the catalog and it looks like a much better value...and has a few parts that I like better than the SWorks.
To throw another wrench into it...the shop has a 07 Epic Expert with about a hour on it that I can get for well below cost.
So now I'm stumped as to what to get.

that new shock is REALLY nice, and the RLC fork on the marathon is well worth the extra $$.......the carbon marathon is probably the value as you already stated.

There is one difference in the frames between the two, the marathon uses a carbon shock link where as the standard Epic to the Expert use a hollow alloy shock link. This is the only major frame difference and the components do get better as you go up line.
