    Epic Geometry for Tall Riders

I'm 6'4", weigh about 185 and race XC. I'm lookin for a new ride and when I spoke with the owner of my LBS he seemed to think that I would fit nicely on an XL Epic as the Epic's seem to have a fairly long top tube which would stretch me out more than my current ride, an NRS.

However he didn't have one in stock so it wasn't possible to test his theory!

    Any feedback?

I'm 6', average build and ride a Large. It's the right size for me and maybe for someone up to about 6'2", based on how it feels to me. I'd say your LBS is right on with an XL for you.

    get the XL

I am 6'3" and had an Epic L but always felt a little crampt, had a lay back seatpost and a tad longer stem to help. I recently upgraded to the S-works Epic in a XL, fits like a glove. I have noticed the ability to ride longer and feel less fatigue after a few hours since I changed over to the XL Epic.
    Keep on riding.

    HI,
I am 6,2 (190) and have recently bought an EPIC XL after my local dealer has completely measured all lengths (arms, shoulders, body, legs, etc.). The bike is exactly right.

Can really recommend you to take this one.

    best regards
    Edwin

    Xl

I'm 6'2", 194 lbs and for two years I rode a large Epic. However, three months ago I got an XL Stumpjumper and it fits perfectly. I recently rode the Epic for the first time since getting the SJ and I immediately realized it was too small for me. So go with the XL.
