    Derailleur Guard

    04 enduro sworks
im noticing that on the rear dropout on the derailler side that the spring of the skewer is damaging the dropout
the spring doesn't seem to have a rebate to sit into on the skewer nut or collar
ive replaced the skewer with a standard one to stop further damage but would like to use the derailler guard again

anYone else had this problem ?

I dont think you are supposed to use the spring on the deraileur guard side, i could be wrong, but if i remember correct there was no spring on my 07 enduro on the guard side when i bought it new.

You don't need to use the spring at all. Its whole purpose is to "center" the hub/axle when your putting the wheel back on. It serves no purpose once the wheel in secured in the dropout. If its doing damage, get rid of it.
