    Dented Chainstay 06 Stumpjumper

My 2006 Stumpjumper developed a dent in the non drive side chainstay, that I for the life of me can not figure out how it came to be. Does it look rideable or would replacement be required?

I have a way bigger dent in my rear chainstay from wiping out in a rocky granite section. I wouldn't worry about it. I took mine to 2 different dealers about 2 years ago and they told me not to worry about it. I haven't had any problems, if it was cracked however I would replace it.

By the way, when was the last time you serviced your pivots and rear shock bushing? If you haven't done it I would recommend this for a winter project.
