Don't sell yourself short. It's a real bike. There are just others that are more expensive. Pray for your bank account that you do not fall in love with one of them.

Took my stock HiLo hubs in after riding last year because they were making a grinding noise. Asked if Specialized ever did "trade-ups" since I was in the market for a new wheelset. They kept my old wheelset and made me a real good deal on their new set of carbon Rovals that I couldnt refuse. Set up well with a pair of grippy Tiogas tubeless. Took them out yesterday and after 24h are still holding the same 25psi. Hookless beads holding on strong.

    Custom Camber..

    ... and the StumpJumper

But I can't seem to part with my old saddle, and these new specialized saddles that come with the bikes feels funny... lol...

So I guess I will be on this 'dale saddle for now, until I find a similar replacement...

    Cheers!

Thanks mike, you got yourself a nice Camber 29er.

I love to get the 29, but my dwarf like body wouldn't adapt to it.. lol..
So I'll be stuck with 26ers forever.. or until they invent something to make me taller.. lol..

    Cheers!!!

    Lol.. that's why I'm better off with a 26er..
    Enjoy your camber..

So far both bikes are performing very well, and I'm impressed by the Camber's performance.. almost at par with the Stumpy.

Both bikes are new (a day old apart), and so far have about 100-150kms on them since last week..

Thanks, love my Camber so far. I did 27 miles last weekend and about 45 total in the last 2 weeks but unfortunately the weather is not cooperating this weekend. Your spoiled to have the choice of both, I'm definitely jealous!

1992 Rockhopper Sport. CL purchase, bigtime nostalgia for me as my first real bike was a '92 hopper in seafoam/teal green with purple script. Loved that bike and ripped up some Indiana trails with it. This one came to me in great shape with most of a suntour x1 group. I bought a CL donor bike with a partial Deore DX group ('89, '90 date codes) and built it up, rebuilt the wheels on the DX hubs, front radial . Fenders and bars are Soma. Rides dreamy.

oh yeah, nashbar 1 to 1-1/8 adapter with a 1-1/8 stem. Try to keep a couple of those around. So many more options with modern stems.
