My 1st Dirt Jumper and non-Kona Bike! (never owned anything but Kona products) 2013 Specialized P.Street one In GREEN! I am now in love with all that is Specialized!!
I love the color that's why I bought this one instead of the Black/Blue package that Specialized offers for this model.

    Hey guys!

You guys have some killer machines.
My Stumpy is in the 'Vintage' collection, lol, and I havent been to my LBS in a while for a sizing or to play with the new gear yet, so I ask, 29rs aside, (or not) are the 26" 'sizing' dimensions still the same? I guess what I mean is, I see a visibly radical difference in tube angles and lengths by contrast to my old Stumpy, at 6'2" and 34 inseam would I still be on a 19/Large frame?

I think so. Best to check at your LBS, but the critical dimensions still seem to "fit".

I got bored after finishing my old Klien Mantra project so I bought an old 07 S-Works SJ FSR Carbon frame and built it up over the last week.

...finally got the chance to give it a 6.5 mile shakedown this morning.

    Parts Breakdown:
2007 S-Works SJ FSR Carbon Frame
    Mavic CrossMax ST disc wheels
Avid Juicy Ultimate Carbon Disc Brakes (160mm - it feels under-braked, probably gonna upsize the discs)
    Maxxis Ignitor UST tires (2.25"fr/2.1"rr)
    Race Face Evolve 3x10 crankset
Answer Protaper 720 Carbon AM handlebar
    Ritchey adjustable stem
    Shimano XTR FD
    SRAM X.0 Type 2 10-spd RD
    SRAM X.9 3x10 shifters
    SRAM PG 1070 Cassette
    Fox TALAS 130 fork
Fox Float RL2 Propedal rear shock
KMC TiN (Titanium nitride - gold) 10-spd Chain
Giant Venture 1 saddle (super cushy for my butt)
    Ergon GP1 grips

Hi everyone, here is my rebuilt 2003? Hardrock. Its a bike that I rebuilt to be a spare if a friend wanted to come on a ride, and the wheel set is compatible with my Surly Troll. The Troll is my daily ride and a recent wheel failure led me to the idea of rebuilding the Hardrock with matching gearing and brakes so I could swap the wheel sets if need.

It also gave me the chance to try a 1 x10 using a Widgit up front. From a quick ride this afternoon the Hardrock might be out of the shed often. A few shots...

Hi everyone, had the rebuilt Hardrock out for its first ride on the trails this morning. Lucky for me these start a hundred meters from home

The first impressions of the 1 x 10 setup is positive, the hills are not too long or steep here. So the choice of the 32 tooth Widgit seems about right. A little chain rub when in the 36 on the back but other wise all is good.

Looks great, and like a great place to ride!

    Recently finished build....

    Details on the plastic rocket:
    - 2010 Specy Stumpjumper Expert Carbon, XL/21"
    - 1x10 drivetrain
    - SRAM medium-cage Type 2 X9 (this thing rocks - not a peep of chainslap on the trail)
    - PG1070 11-36 cassette
    - Stylo 1:1 180mm cranks with Rotor 33T chainring
    - e.13 XCX-st guide
    - Roval Control wheels w/ DT 350 internals rear hub, 36T ratchet
    - specy Phenom saddle, Ergon grips
    - 720mm flatbar, 9 degree bend
    - Ritchey WCS seatpost/stem
    - Formula R1/X brakes
    - Ground Control front / Captain rear - tubeless on the Rovals

Because someone will ask: It weighs about 23lbs with pedals/bottle cages and GPS mount. When I add the Awesome strap with tube, CO2 inflator, spare CO2 cartridge and tire levers - 24.5lbs on the bathroom scale (take that for what it's worth).

It's stiff, fast, handles well and has relatively short seat stays. It's not flexy, at all. What are your questions?
