The wife and I went on a little ride today so I could try out my new 1992ish Stumpjumper I picked up yesterday and it rides unbelievably nice. It'll make a sweet 1x9 paved/dirt trail machine to buzz around the river on. She rode my favorite bike, the 96 m2 comp with a 10 speed XT drivetrain, Sid fork and HED wheels.

After failing to obtain a 2016 S-w Camber 29er, I came across a way better opportunity and so my dream bike has finally realized. The day I got it, I just stared at the paint-job for few hours. Amazing stuff done by Specialized here.

Cool fact: selected "trail bike of the year" in 2014, by Dirt Mag.
Cool fact #2: I believe they are 1 out of 2 left around the world (NIB).

I am whispering this so that my 2016 Specialized Rockhopper won't hear me and get jealous. But I'm pleased and happy to announce the arrival of my new love, 2016 Specialized Fuse Comp 6Fattie, 27.5+, 3" no-tubes. Only urgent thing I need to get are new pedals. I may have to borrow my current pedals off Rocky but in doing so she is gonna know SOMETHING is up! lolA dedicated thread to show off your Specialized bike-017.jpgA dedicated thread to show off your Specialized bike-016.jpg

Picked this up today, immediately took off the heavy stock tyres and threw a 2.35 Maxxis Forekaster on the front and a 2.2 Ardent Race on the back, dropped the stem down one spacer and took it up the bush.

Pretty happy with it, though I can't work out why they routed everything except the rear brake line through the frame on the alloy bike.

My newest Specialized build, a clean 1991 Stumpjumper S Works. Picked it up as just a frame and fork last week and it's now a pig in lipstick with components ranging from 1989 Deore II MT62, M730 XT, M737 XT and M739 XT along with a Ritchey Force stem and Specialized GX23 rims. Still needs a chain and shift cables but it's to cold and snowy out to ride right now anyway

Dubya3 you have all the bikes I lusted after in my youth. I must admit I would love an early mint Stumpy to hang on the wall.

    Hello, Everyone.

I'm super excited to come back to Specialized with my latest purchase: a used 2014 Specialized Enduro 29 S-Works. I guess I must have behaved well this year!

    I started with a 2013 Hardrock 29, then a 2013 Camber 29, a 2015 Orbea Rallon X30, and now this sexy lady

I got her on Friday and have taken her out for 4 rides so far; she's been totally awesome. I'm so stoked!

Thank you for reading. I hope you all have an awesome 2017!

My current crop of Specialized rides. The Fatboy Comp Carbon is on layaway but will be all mine soon enough!

1991 Stumpjumper S Works (steel) - full XT throughout sitting on S Works branded Hugi hubs/Mavic 517 rims

1993 Stumpjumper S Works (M2 alloy) - a work in progress with a Deore/XT build and Rock Shox Mag 20 fork

1988 Stumpjumper - full 1x10 Shimano SLX drivetrain with the original M73X canti and U brakes connected to Shimano R780 levers

And the 2017 Fatboy I'll be bringing home soon

I've posted elsewhere but I figured with you guys being Specialized fans you might get a kick out of it.

It's a 1985 Stumpjumper Team that I've been saving pennies for months to buy. It's mostly original except for the M732 shifters and M732 rear hub/cassette (I have the original hub & freewheel still).

Here's my 2017 S-Works Stumpjumper FSR 6Fattie built from the frameset. The reason why it is glossy is because I applied RaceShield all over it.
