Spent 3 months debating between a Santa Cruz Solo and a Stumpjumper; decided to finally pull the trigger on the Stump. Took about a week to get use to the riding (was coming from a 13 years old hardtail!) and set things up properly, and now I totally enjoy it. Makes me want to go and ride all the time!
Just picked these up the other day, saving them from sitting in a shed for another 15-20 years. The Rockhopper from the early 90's, I don't know the year on the Hardrock! Both need some work, I'll post again when they're nice and cleaned up.
It's got a 24" wheel on it, but the brakes don't line up with the wheel, so it may be a 26".
Just got this the other day! My first adult MTB (basically).
'97 got new tires and tubes on the way. New seat when I can test out some to see what I like. Will replace cables and stuff after some testing. I figure I will have less than 250 total and then see how much I can squeeze in riding.
