    Break Rubbing?

Hey guys, just got my Rockhopper Disc a couple days ago and have been having a blast riding it.

One thing I've noticed is kind of a sweeping sound on the fron ttire. It seems to change kinda while the wheel is turning.

I know this is a vague description but could it be from the front break touching the tire? If so, is this an easy fix?

What kind of brakes? Sounds like your rotor is rubbing.
    Livin' the dream.

Disc Brakes. Not really sure what to check or how to fix it.

Umm, prop up the bike so the front wheel can spin freely, position yourself so you can see a bit of light between the brake caliper pads and the rotor, spin the wheel, see if the pads make contact with the rotor, watch your head, do not put your fingers anywhere near the spinning rotor. If pads are making contact with the rotor, you take bike to local bike shop.
