    Bought a new bike

Just picked up my new 2010 FSR XC Comp from my LBS. Haven't had the chance to get it on a trail. I do have one question about the fork. On this fork there is a lockout option which I am familiar with but there is also a preload adjustment which I have no idea what it does. There is a a + and a - but thing never stops I can just keep turning it. Can someone give me a rundown on this thing?

Oh yeah here is a pic

The Preload adjuster on the left leg is for the coil spring. If you turn it clockwise it should stiffen the spring up and if you turn the knob counter-clockwise it should soften the spring.

If you dont feel an effect, than bring it to your shop.

The + and - knob is your preload, + is stiffer, - is softer.
The bike is nothing more then circles turning circles, It's the human motor that makes it elegant.
