Advice on oversided seat rails/seat post compatability.

I'm looking at purshasing the Specialized Toupe Pro with jumbo carbon rails.

Specialized says: •NOTE: Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails are not compatible with seatposts equipped with side-load clamp mechanisms for 7mm round rails

    Specialized Bicycle Components

Will it fit on a FSA K-Force post? (Not side load)

    Thanks for your help.

Specialized sells adapters for some of the seatposts. I know the Command post now had replacement parts to make it compatible with the carbon rails.

After some research I agree with this.
Now my only concern is the length of the saddle cradle on the post.
I suspect carbon rails would need a longer "bed" to sit in.

I don't think so my cradle is pretty small, the saddle fitting info just said make sure cradle is not close to where rails start to turn back up.

Advice on oversided seat rails/seat post compatability.

I have the carbon railed phenom and I use the Thomson Masterpiece. The Thomson Elite works good too.

Advice on oversided seat rails/seat post compatability.

I used one on my single speed.
I think it's a good saddle especially for long rides even though it's technically a road saddle
