    .
I wonder how he knows that. I asked our Specialized rep about a week ago if he had any info on the 2014 mountain bikes and he said that they wouldn't be seeing them or have any info until later this month or early May.

Haha yeah I noticed that earlier...that's why I replied that I couldn't read a calendar. I was completely oblivious that it was April.

When new bikes are being developed they have to be tested in a wide range of typical riding conditions.

The S-Works Stumpjumper FSR is no different. Here's a spy shot.

Killer, that S-WORKS carbon basket puts camelbak to shame. That will be my next upgrade! Are those fenders carbon or aluminum?

They're pre-production mudguards so are made from graphene for weight saving. The actual retail product will be made from high quality recycled cardboard, offering almost the same performance but at a lower pricepoint.

The new frames are designed to resist even the most committed warranty claims also.

Dang, looks like their new frames are as strong as an ox. I now cant decide on if Im gonna pull the trigger on the Sworks or standard comp. So many options. The new carbon fiber basket on the Sworks has me leaning towards the Sworks.

By the way, I called my local Specialized rep today and they said Specialized is dropping Avid disc brakes in favor of Hope Rim Brakes! The rep said Rim Brakes are far quieter than Avid disks brakes, and have plenty of braking and modulation. Gone is the on and off grabby feel of the Avids!
