2014 specialized carbon cranks - different mfg?

It looks like the 2014 specialized carbon cranks have been revised, and look much more like a sram design than the lightening design in the past.

Has this been covered or confirmed?

Yes, it is a new crank

S-Works models will be equipped with the new S-Works carbon crankset which runs 104 BCD standard chainrings with an integrated carbon spider. The crank is capable of running single or double ring set ups.

I saw it mentioned as well as it only attaches with a single pinch bolt on the left side, unlike the current design which attaches in the middle of the axle like a campagnolo crank...

I would guess that it's a SRAM unit given the look of the spindles, and the loss of the "ultra-torque" design.
