2014 Fox FLOAT X CTD-ADJ Kashima Factory Shock fit on stumpy evo expert?

As the topic asks does anybody much smarter than me on shock sizes know if this will fit on the 2012/2013 stumpy evo experts? Rumor is they are available may19. Thinking this will be an awesome rear shock for the riding I do here in Colorado.

Won't fit without some sort of aftermarket wishbone shaped yoke or some machine work being done to the Float X shock to fit the wishbone.

Might be able to swap the shaft from your current shock onto the Float X so you have the proper clevis mount.

2014 Fox FLOAT X CTD-ADJ Kashima Factory Shock fit on stumpy evo expert?

Right on. Buddy of mine who's a pro and such has emailed fox to inquire about this shock on this bike, no answer yet lol. I wouldn't be surprised if specialized outfits this shock on evos and enduros next year. Can only hope I guess.

Specialized have a lot to answer for with the proprietary clevis - they need to back it up at cost - or else lose [my] custom

They run that clevis on nearly every FSR bike now. It really does help stiffen the rear end up quite abit, but ti does limit our options.

I saw this online the other day. Not a stumpjumper but it's on an enduro. There is hope!

As far as a conversion went. I asked MOJO (british distro) about that - they didnīt knew it back then for sure. But they were optimistic.
I also donīt really like the clevis mount, but I have to say - on my 2011 SJ FSR the shock eyelets really DO hold up.

Most bikes I owned before ate through bushings like warm butter.

I put over 2000 miles on my 2011 SJ Elite and not once did I have to replace anything on the shock. My buddy with a 2012 Giant reign has replaced the bushings twice in less than 500 miles.

2014 Fox FLOAT X CTD-ADJ Kashima Factory Shock fit on stumpy evo expert?

Forget about the fox stuff...I want to see a custom ohlins / specialized air shock for the enduros and stumpys. Anyone else?

    NO! =)

Remember the AFR? And the E-150 - they werenīt so rad. Not bad, but not really great either.
I want after market stuff. Non proprietary, so I can upgrade and replace in four years still.

The current stuff works good enough for me though...
