I've searched but I'm not sure I got the answer so here goes...
I have a 2013 Stumpjumper Elite. The shock/brain is in for service and I'm looking for a way to ride in the meantime short of buying another bike! I have a friend who has a 2013 Stumpjumper EVO who is not currently able to ride due to a recent knee surgery. He has offered to let me use his shock for a couple weeks. So, the question is, will it mount up and work properly? I'm just learning about the proprietary nature of Specialized shocks but I figured the shock off the EVO would mount up and work even if the stroke or eye to eye length is slightly different and obviously it won't have the brain.
Any help and advice will be appreciated... Thanks!
