New question here. 2013 Epic and conversion BB's

I've got a 2013 epic expert, and I'm sick of the S2200 cranks that came with it for various reasons (always had hollowtech before, ridiculous torque settings to put on and get off when I want to clean or get tot he bearings or FD, a few other minor reasons as well) .

I was looking at getting a 2x10 shimano crank for the front (don't want xx1), and wanted to use a conversion BB rather than the spacers. Anyone know if it's a normal pf30 interface that any of the PF 30 to Hollotech conversion BBs will fit (praxis or endure ones are those I'm most wondering about), or has anyone else done something similar?

Just confused as specialized state it's "OSBB" in most of the documentation while also stating pf30, so rather be safe than sorry.

    2013 Epic and conversion BB's

The 2013 Specialized Epic Expert bottom bracket shell takes a standard PF30 size bottom bracket, rather than the Specialized OSBB size.

I'm using a Shimano Deore XT chainset on my 2012 Specialized Epic Expert.

My bottom bracket originally consisted of a SRAM PF30 to BSA threaded adapter and a standard Shimano outboard bearing bottom bracket. That worked well. Nice and solid with no creaking or bottom bracket issues.

This year I switched the bottom bracket to a Chris King PF30 ceramic bottom bracket. For the 24mm Shimano axle this uses plastic reducers and a few plastic spacers unfortunately. Despite that so far it has been ok and spins smoothly without creaking, although I haven't done huge amounts of miles on it yet.

A PF30 to 24mm Shimano axle conversion bottom bracket that might be worth a look is this KCNC/RWC one. It uses enduro bearings and is a single press fit unit without needing any plastic reducers.

I did a bit of reading about the Praxis conversion bottom bracket and that seems to get mixed reviews for noise. I haven't tried one myself though.
