2011 Epic 29 sworks rear shock replace ( no brain)

I love brain performance, but in 2 years 3 issues, and Brazil service is no good and takes average 60 days...
I´m Thinking in replace the rear shox for another kind, no-brain..
Does anyone here done this before ?
Can someone suggest me a shox that fits and works well on rear 2011 SPZ Epic 29

Here's where Trond replaced the Brain rear shock on his 2012 S-Works Epic with a Fox CTD shock. Apparently he was very pleased with how well it worked out too.

You should be able to do the same with a 2011 S-Works Epic also.
