    2010 Stumpy Comp Float 130

Anyone know if this model of Float has a spacer that can be removed to increase the travel?

the answer I received when I emailed fox about the same thing .. The FLOAT RL 130 is a custom OE fork we produce for Specialized. It is in fact a FLOAT 140 spaced down 10mm. There is a 10mm travel spacer attached to the air spring assembly. This spacer would need to be removed to convert it to 140mm. Float travel adjust instructions and information can be found on our service website: http://service.foxracingshox.com

    Hi,

I'm new here, but as I want to buy a 2010 Stump comp soon, I follow with great interests every thing about this bike.

And on the last issue of a popular french mtbr magazine, the Stump Comp is reviewed (and get actually a very good review ;-), but the reviewer explains that the Stump Comp fork is indeed a Float 120 especially customed for Specialized and transformed to get 130mm of travel.
The european model is maybe different?!? In every case, this is strange. Someone to check??? ;-)

    Thanks!
