    2010 enduro - RP23 Push'd worth it?

My RP23 on my enduro is in desperate need of a service and im thinking of getting it pushed at the same time.

Is this worth doing on the first gen RP23's on the 2010 enduros or am i best to save the cash and look for a later RP23 as found on a 2011 enduro.

    Thanks

I can't entirely help you with what you're asking but was in a similar dilemma with my enduro. I had the stock dhx 5 coil on my bike for three years and it kept chugging along with no problems, not as smooth as new but put up with it cause I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to take my bike.

So I decided to Push my dhx 5 coil and it came out to $230; still much lower than any new shock out there at this level. And let me tell you, it almost makes a joke out of my '12 Fox van 36. Which is rare because the fork has it easier to absorb impacts when compared to the rear wheel. The shock eats everything up, and for the fist time ever, the rear end of my bike is not on my mind while I'm riding. I can now entirely focus on the trail knowing the rear shock is going to do its job in absorbing the impact and keep me in control of the bike.

I seriously can't say enough good about this shock now, the rear tire just stays glued to the ground, no matter what. I stay between 6 to 8 clicks of rebound from full fast depending on how fast the trail is. And if the rear shock is kicking back at me, I know the rebound has to be changed, and once I do the rear wheel is fully behaved.

I've been having a similar dilemma my self. From my understanding it's almost impossible to replace the rear on my 2010 enduro unless its, well, the same shock but slightly newer and off another enduro.. Getting it push'd seems like the best option unless someone has other suggestions..
