    2009 Stumpjumper HT

    Hi,

does anyone have pics/info on the 09 stumpy hard tail?
I'm especially interested in the 29er.
curious to hear how they ride, what the expected pricing will be and about the color schemes.
    thanks!

    M.

wow. i like it. i like it a lot. all of them. 'specially that black hardtail with the white stripes on the frame and the white SID. My 08 just got a little older.

thanks for the pic. isn't that the 08 model though? if not that means that the regular stumpy HT will have the nice new shape, but the 29er will not. is that right?
    thanks!

i think it's only the carbons that have the new shape, check out the other aluminum hardtails, the frame shape looks the same as last year (maybe i'm missing something though).

..or anything else about the 09 bike?
    thansk!

by the look of the bikes it's just color schemes. (new colors are pretty sweet IMO) Componetry should be roughly the same (i'm sure they changed around a few parts here and there), other than the SID fork on upper level stumpjumper HT's now. I can't tell what fork is on the 29er though? Some sort of rockshox, but doesn't look like a SID.

That is the brain which will come on all upper level specialized mountain bikes next year.

Thanks for those photos. I really like the new stumpjumper ht colors, particularly the expert models with the SID forks - of course unless they change from previous years, the alloy expert models won't be available in the U.S., so I can't get one even if I wanted to.

I KNOW, tell me about it. Both the black and white look awesome, and i'd be hard pressed not to buy one. Let's just hope specialized gets on the ball. They need to get the memo that americans like expert models, sweet colors, and SID forks too.

the second post up there, click on the second link. There are 3 pages of new specialized bikes, page three is where the hardtails are.

From another thread. Picture is a bit blury, but there are 2 29er hardtails, one is a 'marathon' level bike.

They are the 26" versions. AFAIK there is no 29er Sid fork.
