    2009 FSR 29er info

Seen the pics on bikepedia. Anyone have catalog shots and or 2009 price info. Also what color is the frame only option going to be?

Any weights of the complete's or the frame? I would hope to be able to build one that would come in as close to 26 pounds as I could w/o getting crazy.

They don't list weights, they will make weight claims, but won't put anything in print because they they come out different...they could get blamed for false advertising. I think 26 would be a safe bet.

When can they be expected to be available? My '06 XL Stumpy FSR Expert is getting long in the tooth (three years next month), and Spec'd finally brought the prices down a bit. I may very well bite this year on a 29er.

    Thanks,
    MD

Yeah, I keep seeing RIP 9's that are 29-30 pounds and that new Salsa frame is listed at 7 lbs. So essentially I don't want to buy the frame and end up with a 30 pound bike.

I demo'ed an 08 29 FSR and it rode great but too high priced $4100, but now to get one for $3100 with a fox fork, I think I'll be investing in one of these.
If the path ahead looks dangerous ------- it probably is!

I'm in the market for a Stumpjumper 29er, but I definitely want the brain.
