2007 Enduro SL comp rear shock pin problem

so a few weeks ago, i was trying to add more air to my rear shock, but it just kept letting all the air out. I figured it out that the pin seems to be leaking for some reason, but only if it's moved in a certain place.

it took me an hour to get my pressure anywhere close to where i need it, and even then it's still on the light side. I've ridden it twice since then, and i havent bottomed out at all which is fine, but i'd like to have the rear a little stiffer. Anyway is this a common problem? It's the little pin that you press to release air pressure. I'd like to avoid sending the shock back if it's just a simple fix.

Use a valve core tightener tool to tighten the pin.

Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, Sears Auto, any decent automotive parts place will have a "tire valve tool" you might even have one lying around your house.

awesome thanks i didn't know it was that simple of a tool. I was thinking it was something relative to shocks. Thanks.
