Is the 05 sx frame the same as enduro?

Might be getting an 05 sx frame, the 4.1" travel one. Was wondering if there's any difference in these frames when compared to the sx trails or enduros of the same year other than using different shocks? I would prefer something between 5-6" travel and have a few different size shocks that might work and wanted to know if anybody had tried this before. Really like the low bb and a slack head angle so was thinking a 7.785x2 might work with a 150mm fork on this frame. Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of differances. The chain stays on the SX are shorter than the SX Trail. (I've owned the sx trail and currently own a 06 SX). So the wheelbase is a lot shorter. I would guess the head tube, seat tube and top tube angles are all diffrent. Also the linkages could be longer/shorter. I just put a 7.875X2.25 shock on my SX to give it about 5 inches of travel and am loving it.

u should check this thread- want to know more about the SX
