2004 Specialized Epic without paint job- any concern for corrosion?

I picked up a 2004 Epic frame (it has the carbon link) that made it out of the factory without a paint job, so it is just raw aluminum. I like the way it looks, but want to know if there might be any concern with corrosion without some type of finish (I could consider paint, or maybe a chrome finishing). I'm not a metallurgist, so I wanted to throw this out and see what everyone thinks. I'm in CA and don't do any wet/mud riding, so if the weather is a consideration, it is all dry xc riding.

Can you post a pic? I have the ano silver color. Curious to see what it looks like raw.
