2001 Rockhopper A1 FS Comp Disc - price?

I found a 2001 Rockhopper A1 FS Comp Disc on craigslist. It is the black/red/white frame, Rock Shox Judy C fork, stock bars, stock saddle, Deore front derailleur, stock crankset/bb, and time clipless pedals.

Is $140 a decent price for all of that? He also have a new Deore LX rear derailleur for $30.

It's worth to spend a few hundred dollars more and get a current rig. You can purchase a 2011 Hardrock for around $500 and get much better technology than what is on the 2001 bike. It will ride better, brake better, and the suspension will be more responsive. good luck with your purchase.

I was looking at it as more of a project. Use what is has for now and build from there. It would need wheels/tires, complete disc front/rear, rear derailleur, shifters, etc.
