1 1/2 month old 2012 Hardrock Sport Disc 29er rear hub making grinding noise.

It's my work from home days today and it's drizzling out there. I figured I would do quick check up on my bike in my free time.

Everything looks good, adjusted brake and then I lifted bike up by holding saddle and gave pedal a push. ???? I hear this horrible grinding noise coming out from somewhere back. I thought maybe quick release was loose or maybe I didn't adjusted brake properly. After checking quick release and brake which looked ok, it sounds like it's coming from rear hub. It actually radiates to frame and intensifies sound too.

Should I be having this noise after only having it for a month and half? Should it be greased or lube? I've lubed pretty much everything except couple of things I read that it doesn't need to be touched for a year or so which hub was the one of them(I think)

Or is this just failing part? If so, would this be covered by Warranty?

My hub bolt was way too loose. Too it apart and regreased it. Been going good since.
