What we would do is largely irrelevant. The question is what you should do, and to answer that one, we need more info. What is your riding style? Any gripes about the FSRxc? Any particular preferences (climbing, descending, want to get into more aggressive riding etc)?

I have owned both in the last 12 months.......the pitch pro by a mile, even takin into account, riding styles or bike requirements.......because the pitch's ability to go downhill way out balances its loss on climbin in comparision to the FSR XC........unless you are doin just XC...go with the Pitch, its a bargain at that price....take one out on demo and get onto a bit of a rough downhill section and you will know what i mean.....

It depends on your riding style. A year ago the FSR would have been the bike for me. Now, I might go for a Pitch...

The FSR is the cheaper version of the Stumpjumper
The Pitch is the cheaper version of the Enduro

    Roughly...

I can't afford the Enduro (just one year after I bought my Rockhopper), so the Pitch has got to do, still at $2700 it doesn't really qualify to be called "cheap".
