05 Stumpjumper FSR expert rear shock upgrade...is it possible?

Hey, quick question the guys at my local bike shop have no freaking idea...

I have an 05 Stumpjumper FSR expert120 Disc (im pretty sure thats what it is) and it has the septune shock on the rear...I hate it. Is it possible to put one of the Fox Triads with the lock out or the fox brain thats on the 06's on the bike?

I don't know about getting the 06 shocks. But you can get the septune PUSHed (do a search for more info). It doesn't have a lock out, but the platform is meant to be stronger, but also have a smoother transition from platform to smooth when a bump is hit. So it bobs less, but isn't as "spikey" when you hit a bump. You can also get it tunes for your weight I think. The deadzone is meant to be smoother also.

I am thinking of getting mine done.

It will vastly outperform a Triad once Pushed. Give Darren or Jimmy a call to discuss your concerns. You won't be disappointed.
