hi everyone. i am on biz in atlanta and needs some recs on great places to eat... want great food and am open to hole in the wall, fine dining or other. vegetarian would be great too but not at all necessary. ive already eaten at Canoe and was underwhelmed and ate at Tamarind Bistro last night. love to hear about some not so famous places. thanks in advance.

Last time I was up in Atl. I stopped in to Planet Bombay in Little Five Points and it was pretty good. Had their tofu vindaloo. Pretty tasty and relatively inexpensive. Doc Chey's noodle house is ok for a quick cheap meal as well with vegetarian options.

Try the brick store pub. After a few of their great belgium brews who cares about the food!
    Nothing to see here.

Everyone's got to try the "V" once in their lives. (The Varsity, near GT).

    A huge +1 for Fox Bro's

For burgers check out Vortex in little 5 Points and J Christopher's has great blueberry granola pancakes for breakfast. I think there are a couple of them in town but I like the one in Decatur.
