Mountain bike rentals - Athens, GA

I need to rent something decent to ride Heritage Park in a couple of weeks, in preparation/reconnaissance for the 24 Hour in October.
Can anyone steer me in the direction of a rental available in Athens? Option is Atlanta, and I have a couple of shops there to talk to, but would rather pick up a bike closer to the race site.
    Thanks
    Cheers
    Barry

I'm not aware of any shops that do demos/rentals in Athens, but you could always call around and ask... maybe they'll hook you up.

Talk to Micah at Georgia Cycle Sport in Athens. I know they rent MTB bikes. Specialized if I'm not mistaken.

Just a report to follow up. It actually worked out to rent a Trek from CycleWorks in Duluth and go from there to Heritage.
The trails are awesome, hilly but not severe, lots of roots tho', twisty and winding. Great surface, great signposting.
Congrats to the SORBA people that renovated the trails - you all did a great job.
Looking forward to the 24 Hour in October, should be a test
    Cheers
