    Orlando MTB *Soon to come*

Well it was in the paper, that there is going to be a MTB park in orlando. It has a cleanup date in a couple of weeks. It's going to be pretty cool. Take a look at these links, if you live near, and are willing to help. Just thought I'd post it here.

they sure did try to squeeze every inch of single track they could in that little area. I'll be down for helping when OMBA has a work day there.

Any News? Hows the park coming along? Where will it be located. Looking at the photos, seems like a lot of people putting some work in.

It's the old naval training center area right off of Colonial (SR 50). It was closed years ago and is being redeveloped.

No... there's a workday coming up 2/12 and the pumptrack is supposed to be built soon, but the trail is not open yet.

The first trail is cut but not open yet. The next work day will be 3/5. They will be installing the pumptrack 3/4-3/12... the pumptrack is supposed to be rideable on 3/12.

The actual opening of the park is still TBD but if you want to help break things in show up for the workday on the 5th or the 12th. (You could show up on the 4th but I think that is more of a logistics day since its still a week day...)

Here's a link to the facebook page:

Looks like they are starting on the 5th now. I think the 4th may be when the builder (Ben Blitch) is getting to town. Just a guess. Anyway, if you can't come on the 5th, come on the 12th or 13th...
