    October Markham race

    Anyone know how much it will be to register, I know i will have to get a one day race license for I think $5

    I'll be at this one...not sure which class to chose though...

    novice-6 miles is a very short ride / base / base Clyde...

    i feel like a mini-Clyde though after visiting those Clyde threads...6'2" 220lbs gym rat...

    I'd say go Base Clyde. The fast Clydes are going to be lighter than you, and are faster than you expect them to be.

    Ya I'm not sure either I'm 6'2 and 200 but I might just do novice to get a race under my belt, I know Markham very well even there race setups well see...

    Make sure to do the pass thingy at the office before the race. It takes less than 15 minutes, it is free and it is mandatory. The office is located just past the entrance. After you get through the gate make a left at the intersection and it will be on your right, across from the doggy park. You can't miss it. The pass allows access to Quiet Waters Park as well....

    I already have it Markham use to be my main park to ride before I moved out here to Tampa area thanks tho

    im going to be signing up for this race as my first race ever also. Since ive never raced, im going to sign up for novice. 6 miles may be short, but I figure it will be a good first experience.

    Make an account through www.firstplaceracing.com to see the exact cost for registration. I think it was like $35
