New Weapon (x-post from SC board)

Is this bike named after the gunmaker, Heckler and Koch? I wonder, since Santa Cruz has the Bullit, is this the gun?

Anyways, I got a killer deal on a sweet 2005 vintage Heckler and I built it up last night. I haven't taken it out yet, but I couldn't sleep last night because I was so wired.

Anyway, the equipment list. It's not the greatest list of top-of-the-line components, but it works for me:

    Manitou Minute 3:00 IT
    Fox DHX 5.0 coil
    XTR derailleurs
    XT shift/lever pods
    CK headset
Specialized stem and XC handlebar (off my bro's Spec Stumpy Expert)
    XT drivetrain
Avid BB5s (upgrading later this year to some Juicy 7s)
Hope clamp and skewers (gold now, but blue on the way to match the CK)
Thomson seatpost, WTB Speed V saddle
Kovachi custom wheelset (Mavic rims, DT Swiss hubs, Sapim spokes) and Kenda Nevagals

The bike weighs in at 31.2 lbs, which is less than my target weight, so I'm pretty happy.

    Before we started:

All done (except for the derailleur cables):
    yep...
